Love the video of the pups! Just like our house, we have two well trained pitbulls.

All our babies are certified therapy dogs and we visit a local nursing home regularly, it's about my only activity outside of work--because I'm always working :(

Have you found there to be any difference in lighting requirements between the gold Maxima's and the blue ones? Have you ever had any clams change color due to lighting conditions?

I would assume unless it was some sort of catastrophic stress induced event (like light induced burning or stress)any (sustainable) color change would probably happen over a long period of time? Is it the zooxanthelle that determines the color of the clam mantle? Does the amount or type of zooxanthelle in a particular clam determine the mantle color?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, I've just always been really interested in photosynthetic clams. [emoji4]
