0.8 GAC Rox

I’ve order this before, but what I got was something much larger than this but was not chunky rock like which normal GAC looks like. This is labeled as .8 ROX. Is this miss packaged? Or was the last one I got mismanaged? This stuff is so small I don’t know how I would keep it in a vessel. I’d have to get some super fine bags. Thoughts?

That is what ROX 0.8 looks like. :)

I used it in a normal GAC/GFO reactor with a foam top.

ROX 0.8 is extruded like little rods and then broken to short size lengths.

The one that I received last time was about 1/16th - 1/8th in diameter. It use to plug the holes in my reactor. I hit rebuy. So, clearly I got something different last time. It’s like I got its larger than life twin brother with that extra chromosome the last time. Now looking for bags, all the reviews show this flows through the bags at BRS. Let’s see what others have. You can put it between filter floss in a reactor and it’ll stay.
