As the title states. Just did a water test and my phosphates are 0 after using the Hanna phosphorus to phosphate checker.

and what appears to be 10 on the nitrates using the Salifert checker.

currently I’m dosing 1ML of Phyto every night around 10:30PM and dose 2 capfuls of Brightwell macrobacteria7.

I started dosing brightwell because my sandbed had this brown gunk on it. Appeared to be Dino’s and my tank glass would get dirty daily. Since I started dosing I noticed less of the dinos on the sandbed and the glass isn’t as dirty every day.

my tank is overall healthy. Corals are happy. I do have a skimmer I run 20/7. I turn it off for 4 hours after I dose macrobacteria7 and turn it off for 15min when I dose Phyto.

I used to feed my tank Reef roids mixed in with Red Sea AB+ but noticed that just made the tank dirty and my corals would react weirdly to it.

should I be worried about the phosphates being so low?

The only coral that doesn’t seem to open as much as it used to is the amazeball Goni. Not sure why

I've had higher nitrates than that with 0 phosphates. No worries. Are you running cheato or macro? That can be diminishing the phosphates.

You’re not running gfo or similar?
what else are you feeding? I’d assume frozen looking at the ratio?
