Spray bottles of 3% hydrogen peroxide sell at Target, Walmart, CVS, grocery store, all pretty cheap.

And Amazon, they are selling more than books now.

Got it. 3% only. I'm guessing because it can harm the bio part of the rock?

3% is the standard you will find in stores. Brown plastic bottles. Pay a buck extra comes in a spray bottle. Can't go wrong.

Re: harming the rock, yes, be careful. Don't soak the rock. Just lightly spray over the GHA infested parts and let it sit a few minutes. Wil bubble up a bit. That's fine. If you spray so much it starts seeping inside of the rocks you've done too much and are now killing good bacteria inside the rocks. Just the surface and you're good.

The way this works best is having a stong CUC to take over afterwards.

Afraid if I do a blackout it'll stress out the fish too much. I like to see them alive and thriving. How am I supposed to feed them when lights are always off. Where can I find hydrogen peroxide to spray the rocks with? I should probably buy a new di system and work on making my own saltwater. What di systems do you guys use and what salt do you guys use and what water do you use to make the salt water I'm using voice recognition because I'm walking around with grandparents currently apologies for any spelling mistakes.

I am using Reef Crystals purple bucket and my rodi system is a LiquaGen 5 stage which. I modified to its current 7 Stage by adding a stand alone 2 stage filter so I can fill one with a bag of Cation resin (positive charged) and the other with bag of Anion resin (negitive charged) before it goes into stage 7 where I have mixed resin (cation/anion) to help with catching anything that may have gotten through...

Got it I'll ask my dad he's got everything. Basically hold the rock take a spray bottle and spray, light film of it etc? Also reef crystals seem to be cheapest salt I mix it with do water and that's it right?

A black out won’t stress out your fish, they will be fine with it, corals can handle it for a few days. Remember storms develop over the ocean and the ocean goes for many days without the sun.

I been chatting with this thread for a while long before you stopped by. I just don't have a lot of free time to visit everyday as I am gone alot to everywhere....to fix things....but when I am home my coffee, tank and chatting here is a relaxing vice....
