Tank looks nice today.

I did a 15 gallon water change yesterday.
Nitrate is at 27.4 so it mysteriously went up 10 points from last week.
Doesn't make sense.
I did change tester packets to the new ones I got from premium aquatics so I'm thinking the ones I got on Amazon were bunk.
I always test the same way and I've had that happen before so I won't be ordering those from Amazon again.
Just a heads up for the newbies. Anything can not be what you think it is in this hobby.
Be thorough and thoughtful always.
So cold here I'm heating my top off water so keep that in mind.
Really cold, stormy everywhere so be careful, drive careful and stay warm.

Burrrrrrrr, northern Idaho! That’s where my father’s favorite sky resort is. Yes I live in northeastern Ohio, just over an hour from Pittsburgh, PA and the same distance to Cleveland. I work in Cleveland and the phrase “lake affect snow “ is used often!

Yes stay safe out there! I might start heating my ATO. My fish tank is in the coldest room in the house I I might need to add another heater. This cold weather canceled my TSA order so I had to reschedule it but I ordered a yellow tang from Biota and they said the are still shipping it so I hope it makes it here on Friday.
