Believe it or not I found the exact water heater yesterday at home depot even though it wasn't listed in stock online!
It's a small 19 gallon tank, just for the customer restrooms.
Hopefully they will get it in today.

I know certain chemicals do it but without chemicals I have to constantly adjust my skimmer, it gets annoying.

mine fills an overflow container. usually takes about 5 days to start draining into the overflow then maybe only 1/10 of the overflow container fills before I empty and clean the whole thing. probably like every 10 days is my cleaning. but I don't need to dial it.

Excessive protein, from food or additives.
If it's doing it when you feed, turn it off for a bit before and after.
I used to have mine do it when I used new filter pads, even if I rinsed them first.
I don't use any pads anymore.
Any sort of chemical, doesn't have to be poisonous.
Sometimes fish vitamins can do it, especially selcon.
Mine does it at first after a water change, but only if I use IO or crystals.
There's an anti caking agent they add and my skimmer goes nuts, but only for a bit.
I just leave the sump water level lower then.

It works great, then it seems like the moment it gets full, literally if I'm a day late, it just starts overflowing like crazy to the point where i just drain the cup back in the tank, because it's clean anyway, then adjust my skimmer way back down. Suppose I should setup my skimmer to go off during feeding and turn back on a few hours afterwards or something

My skimmer and its partner in crime my filter roller, did a lot to get me double zeros for nutrients. Had to scale them way back to get my nutrients up (dinos). I actually turned off my skimmer and raised my roller float switch up to max. Still dialing things in, skimmer is on, but i have it set for a dry skim and the float level is about back to the middle. Testing day, so I will post some numbers later

110 or 150, either/or both good skimmers.
I'd try shutting them off before/after feeding.
Can plug them into a timer too.

I almost always feed frozen/coral food at night around 6-8pm. Might just shut it off everyday between 5pm-12am? Skim wet when its on though

I think if you posted pictures of your fish tank, dog, and food on your Instagram page, you would definitely get a lot of followers.

Believe me, I've thought about it since, like you, Kevin has also told me, I've never been a social media person although I use IG a lot to see news and see ideas on topics that interest me, Although it may not seem like it, I am a rather shy and closed person when it comes to my private life. All the photos I share with you are because of trust and because you are family, but I don't share them with anyone else, haha, but I am thinking about it.

If you've got sand Mike, skim a little drier.
This will help with overflow too.
On the octopus, lower the level one inch below where the neck comes off.

I'll give that a go. I always aim to have the bubbles break right about where the neck breaks
