Not cold here today but temps are supposed to drop a lot over night I think. They are now saying we are going to get ice and not snow so I'm not happy about that. @AlyciaMarie I think we need to protest against mother nature....

I'd take those temps over what we are getting!

@Gumbies R Us can attest to the fact that I've fully worked through the 5 stages of grief over this snow MULTIPLE times this week ... I LOVE snow, and I am beyond disappointed. Now they're talking about a big snow next weekend? Yeah, not falling for that one.

This storm went from "24 inches of snow and breaking the blizzard of 1993's records!" to "There is a doomsday ice storm coming that is going to freeze the elderly and children to death!" to "rain".....

Take a trip north to Michigan! We have plenty to share

February 1973, we had 18 inches of snow, stayed on the ground 2 weeks

I was a year and half old in February of 1973!

@revhtree has a mini one. I wish he would share photos of it. He claims it's not a flamethrower, but it 100% is.

They call those 'pear burners' in Texas. But, it's a full on, flame thrower. I used mine when I lived there to start bonfires. It was easier than using a match and kindling!

Ooh, that reminds me, I should probably start my generator tonight just in case.

Make sure you have a full tank of gas as well. I filled two gas cans last night for mine. It's supposed to be bitterly cold and I don't want like being unprepared. We probably won't lose power, but just in case. Oh, I also bought some extra beer. You know.. the necessities.
