Baby tang still doing good?
Eating anything yet?
The baby tang is doing great.
She is starting to get more yellow!
She has been eating lots and lots of nori but I haven’t seen her eat and frozen yet.
I should be going to LFS tomorrow and I will see what other food they have.
Also I am planning on putting her in the 90 gallon tomorrow. She looks super healthy.
Still very shy

Yes they are coming back in style.
I have thought about it but probably won’t get one.
I have curly hair so idk how that would go.
Probably look pretty sick :p

Remind me of the fish in there now.

Ok, then please don’t anybody like any of my comments anymore.

My reaction score is 2-4-6-8 which I find very reassuring for my OCD ha ha ha !
I promise I might not ;)

I would really like to see him eating real food first.
What do you think?

Ok. Sure I think that is a good idea but
Is nori not considered real food for them?
I thought that was the main part of their diet.

90 gallon fish -
2 clowns
3 Kupang damsels
Hippo blue tang
And of course the TAILSPOT
I think I might wait.
Would like him to be a bit stronger/bigger.
Let me know what you think.

If you think we should wait I will wait.
He is about 2 inches.
Will be the second biggest fish in the 90.
The hippo blue is not much bigger.
But I think it is a good idea to see home eat some frozen.

yes want him eating solid foods along with algae first IMO

Yes and no.
Look this is my opinion maybe not internet worthy or you tube so here goes.
They are omnivores.
Eating some meat, shrimp is also part of their diet. Your tank is now their home and you feed all kinds of other stuff, right?
Nori is great, great nutrition but that fish needs to eat everything to keep up in that tank.
Fatten him up.
I feed mine everything I can. He's always been picky but will now eat 3 or 4 different things.
Easier for me too.
Make sense?

ok so can you remind me of the foods you recommended for the tang. I can get some tomorrow at the LFS.

I only feed my tank Rods frozen food and some nori. What else should I feed? Sometimes reef roids for corals but rarely because of phosphate.

You are a very good kid.
I'm glad we met on here. :)
You always ask all the right questions.

Formula 1 and 2 frozen cubes.
New life spectrum marine pellets.
Maybe try some flakes for fun.
Lots of people on here hate flakes, bash them but sometimes it gets shy fish to eat.
That's all my clown eats.

Ok I will give them a try.

Thanks Joel

The yellow tang should be able to live its whole life in the 90 gallon right?
I think @00W has had his in the 90 for 8 years.

Eventually the hippo blue might need to get rehoused but that is years from now.
