Thats a lot of quick growth for 20ppm nitrates. What are your phosphates? Do you have a cuc? I would follow Tim's advice and check for rust/corrosion. I don't know if you're running any chemical filtration.

Na, everyone on here has beaten it. Im currently dealing with a small outbreak. Frustrating, yes, unbeatable, no. It just won’t happen overnight and may take weeks. Boost your cuc, a tuxedo urchin, turbo snails, trocus snails, stomatella snails and emerald crabs. Whatever algae eating fish that is appropriate for your size tank. Sea hair. Reduce input and increase output. Less feeding, less hours of light, skimmer 24/7, increased frequency and amount of water changes.

Turbo snails are a ton of money and my LFS distributor is terrible. I can't get anything in besides top crowns. Im going to work on a tux urchin and sea hare as well as trocus. A white tail bristletoorh would work for my tank size.

Salifert is relatively inexpensive and that is what I use.

The rust is a source of iron which is a nutrient for algae.

I've had it only a couple of times still get it occasionally only on return nozzles, etc.
Unlike cyno, GHA is prolific in flow. It loves it.
Manually removing it like you did in your previous thread is the way to start, and you'll have to do it a lot.
Remember, you have to consider the source of it, why it is happening in the first place.
For me it was phosphates.
Once I brought that in line, it abated.
You have to consider your water source too.
I've known so many people getting crappy water from their lfs.

Phosphates can enter your tank mainly through food.
But you can't just not feed your fish.
That's not fair to them.
I know so many people who just stop feeding or feed way less when they are on a phosphate battle.
Don't do that.
It's also in your rock sand, etc.
You only have the tidal filter on that tank so you are a bit limited.
If it were me, I'd go agro scrubbing again and add a small bag of rowaphos to the filter.
But first, you gotta test.
I don't know where you live but Facebook is a good way to find saltwater people in your area and make friends, find someone to help test for you.
If all else fails I've got a hanna I can send you.
But you try and work it out first.
