Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
everything is warming up in QT. Had the truck at 78f and the heated seat on for the coral for the ride home. Temp in the box is 66, but everything looks ok. That was close cause much cooler and stuff dies.

Looking good brother pretty sweet QT.

So far so good. Everything is open, the scoly had an aiptasa that I used the demel to remove. Forgot how quick things can open up and look good when they are not dipped right away.

Filled the tank up with tap water today and ran it through the plumbing and sump, everything looks good so far. Pictures will be up soon on my build thread!

Love these! Are they from SBB?

yes they are. Shanes sales are pretty fun, combined with the discount codes and $5/$1 corals its hard to beat since I don't have anything local that has coral.

Anyone wanna provide a Christmas miracle and sell me or donate a decent reef light that won’t break my bank or get me divorced. I really want to introduce corals soon but need a starter light to get me going. Figure I ask here :)

I definitely would if I had one, I know a few on here have collected things over the years and just might be able to help you good luck and remember to remind your wife, divorces are even more expensive than reef lights ;) , good luck.

Probably OK. Can't really tell with the flow, but as long as it's not whipping around too much, I think it's got a good shot of growing! You'll need to keep that GHA in check, though.

Will do. Trust me I've tried lol. It's not whipping that's for sure, what will happen to the smaller pieces that broke off will they die? Tempted to put them in a jar with sand and saltwater and put a lamp over it...
