Good busy day yesterday, trying to get ready for family coming in from California, Michigan, Connecticut and NYC. Yesterday I mulched, wacked, edged around the patio and finished planting the garden. Today was inside work since the wife was doing wedding stuff with our daughter I think. I sometimes wonder if they are day drinking and my wife is laughing about how she hasn’t done any wash or housework on the weekends for 2 months.

Good evening Joel, I hope you had a better day. I’ve come up with a couple of ideas for you not to get beat up every weekend. 1, make your meals less tasty, not awful and less fresh. It would go like this. Husband “ we are stopping by the restaurant to eat real quick because I have to get home and get the grass cut before the rain.” Wife “I wish we could go somewhere else the food there is so bland and the lettuce is always wilted.” Husband, “ next week we’ll go to that Mexican restaurant that you really like.” 2, increases your prices by 50%. Husband, “ we will stop at McDonalds on the way home from church.” Wife, “ can’t we go to the restaurant, the food is so good and besides we ate at McDonalds after church two weeks ago.” Husband, “ I don’t get paid until tomorrow and we could only afford one appetizer for us to split with the three kids.” :winking-face:

Ya, my immediate family moved as far east and west as they could get from me without going into the ocean. An aunt and cousins are coming from Grand Rapids, that’s in the beautiful state of Michigan where I was born. I think Keith has heard of it.
