I had an ad video pop up in my YouTube feed this morning. I generally detest ads (big surprise, who doesn't) but for some reason I clicked on it and watched it. I didn't know anyone still made commercials like this. We don't have streaming, cable or over air TV. We have DVDs. We got rid of cable around seven years ago and don't really miss it so we don't see commercials other than the stuff on YouTube that gets through our ad blockers. Even if your a Ford fan, this is a wonderful commercial. It reminded me of my mom. She drove until she was 92, had a purple PT Cruiser that she loved. She past about a year later.

I actually posted that a long time ago, I pretty sure before you lowered your standards and started hanging out with us nerds. Like you for some reason when I came across it I watched it and it touched me.

As much as I liked my lid and how economical it had turned out, I couldn't risk losing another fish like my old Royal Pencil Wrasse and my Halichoeres Chrysus because there was a gap and they jumped through there. A friend gave me a good price on a lid and I chose it divided into 2 to be able to access the tank without having the tank 100% uncovered since I have a couple very skittish fish.

The truth is yes, to do anything in the tank I always had to hold the lid with one hand and do everything with the other

Tom's commercial reminded me of this. I was thinking he was posting the same thing over and over again, like Luis.

I was planning to look into a better lid around the end of the year until I discovered that I need to either repair or replace my tank in the near future. I discussed it in my tank thread recently (post 835).
