I need to do a 50-25% water change.. I've decided that I need to put more effort into my tank and this is how I can start. I still have instant ocean salt.. what are my first steps for mixing? I have an extra power head.. a trash can (Brute) and a heater I got as a free gift.. is that all I need?

Good morning Camden, yes you are good to go but I also check the salinity of the new batch and sometimes have to adjust to get it just right by adding a little more salt or water.
