I thought so too but it lines up with 35 PPT which is 1.026. That being said if its a little off on calibration that can be a mess lol

I like it at 1.025, but check the tank's salinity too. If it's a little low, it's not a problem, but if it's already at 1.026 and you're going to do a big water change, you might end raising the salinity a little bit.

Mines at 1.027 most of the time, usually a bit higher.
