Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
All quiet here on a Saturday morning !
It's almost like the Western Front; quite eery.

Good morning all you sexy smorgasboarders!

Wishing you a day filled with peace, love and understanding.

What happened to Remi???
I wish I knew, I’ve been wondering myself. I don’t think anyone has his number. I suggested a long time ago that everyone share their phone number with someone on here for situations like this so we know that they are ok but just find us annoying.

whos the clam expert around here? id really like to try one but know zilch
I had a maxima decades ago for a few months before it withered away. Looking back I don’t think I had enough par. I know now that the need at least 300+ par. Derosa and squamosa are placed in the sand and maxima and Crocea are rock dwellers. A clam expert would be @OrionN

I have had one ridding around on a turbo snail for over a year and didn't know it, I guess its still alive because it has grown along with the snail.

Curious what settings your Nero 3 or 5 is on and if you have other pumps. Always a struggle to tune mine in
My nero 3 is set at random 45% intensity, dropping to 10% after lights out. That's on the left side glass panel. On the right side I have a hygger wavemaker (1200gph I think) on random. The wavemakers are facing each other but are of set just a bit. The flows "bump" each other, giving me a nice chaotic turbulent flow up top near the sps. For my return pump, my axis 40 is running at 60% with a vivid aquatics random flow nozzle on the output. My tank is a 40 gallon cube, so it has its own rules for flow..
