Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Im not even sure what I was trying to say there Rock lol. Sam kept me up all night jamming tunes, so I was probably just sleep deprived.
I'm just giving you detritus brother!

Only problem is... GHA loves it. But I've halted its growth for now with my secret technique. Guessing high P04 or its outcompeting corals?
Yep P04 is involved in GHA growth. Corals can out compete the gha but you need a lot of them for that. Work on manual removal, beef up cuc and slowly lower p04 with the media of your choice. Make sure not to bottom out nitrates with too many water changes. Looking good bud.

How high is your phosphate? It's hard to tell in your post. Phosphate is what fuels algae the most

Solid advice my friend

I'll test it when I'm home w my Hanna.

Alright. If it looks a little upset I did do a little short dip, but here is a photo of the bad boi with an orange lens. If I should elevate it further from the sand bed or move it from the corner let me know. I know @kingranch2003 knows a lot more about scolys than I do.

No, Turkish coffee does not use this type of bean. While there is "Monkey Coffee", I have never had or seen it. However, there is a much more readily available coffee called Kopi Luwak. The beans are eaten by civets. Where it originally came from the word kopi means coffee and Luwak is what they call the civet. Although, I think in recent times, they now make it from caged civets. It is very expensive and I have never had this one either.
Monkey coffee! Hahaha

Alright. I might get a chemicals or something to help with p04.

Scoly secured and added to tank. I did do a very light dip as I hear they can be very sensitive to dips. I also did glue a rock below the skeleton and dug the rock in the sand so it has space as well. Looks very good and will post pictures hopefully later today. It did seem not to like the dip even though I think I only did a 1/4 of the amount at only 3-4 minutes.
I was trying to catch up with the thread to see if you had it yet! Sounds like you did everything right to me. Scolys look like pure garbage when the arrive from shipping. Dont worry the following pics you post are going to be stunning. Dont forget them please lol

I love it there personally. If it's too close to the glass once it extends to full size, you can determine if you want a little more space between it and the glass or not.
It's hard to picture ot in a better spot honestly. Beautiful!

Good morning Smorgville!
Good morning Tom!
Ohhh ! that’s something to try
less expensive than the elephant and civet coffee beans as the manatee intestinal tract is extremely short for it’s size and after eating the coffee beans, they have bowl movements rather quickly.

So far so good man! The McCosker's went and hid right away, but the Naoko's is fantastic!

Booyah!

How long are the beans in the Manatee before they poop them out? someone just swims behind them with a little net?
Actually, they are looking for Manatee bean catchers, right now. I submitted you for the job. You know, get you out of that poopoo weather and into some real poopoo.

Love em!! Im trying to negotiate one right now. I have a friend that has several for sale. If you're interested I can get you a price.
