Not really a family connection John,

One of my father's side gigs was as a sports announcer on a local radio station for a while. One day a record promoter gave him a half dozen promo albums. Clive Sarstedt was one of them, along with Cactus, Captain Beefheart and Dennis Coffey. It was significant to me because my father and I were at odds at the time due to my decision to leave the family business. His giving me the albums was a gesture that helped to mend the rift.

Ok, I understand now. I remember that your father gave it to you. It stuck out to me because I remember how much my Dad's music was his way of connecting with me. If we didnt see eye to eye on something, we just played some music we both loved and didnt have to say much after that for a while.
