I wish Home Depot would expire too. They cut down sooooo many trees!
But they also sale trees here. Planted quite a few of them myself.
And you used half of them to build a boat!
I want to see said boat. We built a cabin.
I'm pretty sure I am fully stocked in my tank at this point other than the sixline wrasse I have coming hopefully Friday to my LFS.
If you were closer I would give you my sixline wrasse. I need it out of my quarantine tank. Need to start quarantining for the clinics tank. Hope your wrasse is as good as mine has been.

I saw the doctor today. One more week off of work. She also wants CT scans of my torso and maxillofacial area. Also my urine tested positive for blood so part of that will be assessing my left kidney. I follow up with her again next Tuesday.
Don't rush going back. Just heal.
They moved him to a more acute, male only unit that night, and then back to Salem on Monday. Oregon State Police were arriving as I was leaving in the ambulance. He'll probably get an attempted sexual assault charge and possibly an assault charge. However the assault charge for assaulting me will likely not be pursued. Our DAs usually don't want to bother with charges against criminals who are already in the state hospital.
This happens to often. Not wanting to file charges unless they are sure they are fit to stand trial.

I don't think I mentioned I spent the last 15 years of my career in District court and 5 in Circuit court. Retired deputy sheriff.

I really liked working courts. I never like when violent offenders are released because they are unfit to stand trial. Like any job though. There will always be something you disagree with.

I work with LE almost daily at my job. I have turned over some great footage that has helped in some pretty cool investigations. You guys always have my support in any way I can give it!

We always appreciate support. LE can be a rewarding career. But rarely is it easy. My last week on the job. I am the one on the right.

Awesome shot!

It was probably bittersweet to go. Hopefully you can enjoy your hard earned free time!

@kingranch2003 I have been reading up on them. Seems they will be a great start to keeping the tank a little safer.

Tomorrow I will be removing the last fish out of my quarantine tanks. Lowering salinity and basically getting ready to purchase some fish. Hoping to get some from Petco.

Very bittersweet. I would have stayed another 5 years if my husband hadn't kept at me to retire. Loved my job. Keeping up on my concealed carry permit.

It is hard adjusting to civilian life sometimes. My crew still includes me in their lives. And I still sew on their patches.

But retirement gives me more time for my hobbies and the gym. And Lots of walking with hubby and our pups.

Great news! What are you planning to get? Remind me of your tank size again please.

Gotta keep the CCW current! Luckily down here in Mississippi you just pretty much have to be alive to get one lol

The clinics tank is about 270 gallon cube. Center overflow. Great for people to walk around.

Looking for small to medium sized fishes. Reef safe, or with caution. I added a watchman goby already. Open minded about the fish. Hadn't expected this need.

I have a young flame angel ready to go in. Want to get a bicolor one also. Will add at same time. This is going to take time. I also want to add mollies. Always makes people wonder. 😂 And lots of cuc.

Any of your flasher or fairy wrasse would make nice, open swimming, and colorful additions to that tank
Lubbock's Fairy
Redfin Fairy
Halichoeres Chrysus
Melenurus
McCosker's Fairy
And so many more would be perfect!

And remember if you have corals, just say no to shrimp, and I personally avoid all damsels with the exception of the beautiful and peaceful Springeri Damsel
