Slow day at the Smorgasbord today. Only 4 pages to read and what appears to be an absent musical theme.

Allow me to introduce you to Lionel "Linc" Chamberland. Linc died, at 46, on this day in 1987. I only became familiar with Linc due to other friends who are truly jazz enthusiasts. Hope you enjoy this one and the rest to come.

Oh man they are beautiful!!!

I really love them. Last fall my husband dug up several varieties and tossed them for me. Downsizing.

Very good Steve. I did mention I wished these were divided as easily. I let them grow into giant clumps. Will be a PITA to thin. I have a few really heavily ruffled ones. They are just starting to open here. Below are a few photos of my daylily bed. It starts out as tulips. And my favorite gardener. My mother

Another neat thing is that daylily tubers are edible supposedly, though I haven’t tested that theory myself.

But, but, it's the third day of Summer.

And better stick around for awhile!

Tom, every year summer seems to be shorter and shorter. This year it was one week long and was a couple weeks ago. Should be seeing the white stuff in about 6-8 weeks.

I love summer days. Play in the morning. Nap during the heat and up for the cooler evening.

They are. I found a book with recipes for the buds. So are fuschias. I like knowing which of my plants are edible. You never know.

If you ever want to see your cat again I will pm you a post office box number. If I see any police involvement I will drop you cat at our local Chinese restaurant and they will rename your cat Moo shu pork. Have two of each of these to the PO Box I will pm you.

We took are Sarah (kitty) to the vet today. Looks like some type of infection. And yeast in her ears. Two shots are meds for her ears. Hopefully she will feel better soon.

Moved a firefish and filefish into observation today. They both look great. Not as shy as last week.

Cleaned the clinics tank. It has developed cyano and some strange snotty looking stuff. This is since their power outage killed almost all their fish and depleted the oxygen. Sighs

I think there is possibly a bit to much fat on her for chinese cuisine. Maybe a little less pate'
