11 pages missed today. Maybe I'll catch up. Maybe I won't. Either way, I am still going to create the theme of "alcohol" from all the mentions of what people were drinking in high school.

This one was Tiramisu Dinner Plate Iris but over the years it darkened to look more like Jello. I think I got it from Brecks. I have had this happen with some other flowers. Purple Lillies are more burgundy.

I hate it when they don't look like expected. And I have gotten rid of most of my asiatic lilies. Multiply too quickly. Love the color on this one. Keeper.

tired this morning. but more than usual. we have a heavy dense fog right now that is so thick you can feel water droplets while walking. vis is about 1/4 mile.

Muggy days always make me feel that way. Feel better soon.

My husband came in the bedroom at 6 which woke me up i went to the bathroom and laid back down thinking I would just lay there a few minutes then get up to get coffee, next thing I know i am waking up and it's 30 minutes later...

This sounds like most mornings since I retired. I snuggle with my little dog.

Now thats funny!
Squid had a visitor this morning to her Catio.
She is in full on fluff mode, lol.

Can she get out? Or is that her safe area.

No way. My dog has seizures. So we will be heading up to the mountain.

Trying to talk myself into doing a 12g water change, been under the weather but afternoons I’ve perked up over the last couple of days. We’ll see, my tank needs it.

Hope you got it done. I like water changes to clean the sand.

I do stair master every work out day...at the end...
up to a 4 flight per minute rate...

I should. But just can't do it. I like hiking up hills though. Enjoy

The stairmaster is a beast. I do the treadmill for 1/2hr at the end of my workout. I keep my heart rate above 100 so its a fast walk.

Yesterday I posted a video of the raccoons being released. About an hour ago my oldest son left to hike back even though he doubted that they would still be there. He just sent me this.

I missed the release.

@kevgib67 I had to look it up but no a crab and snail would not die if it consumed a mandarin.

Didn't think so. Also have heard of other fish killing them. Mostly they are left alone

Hello everyone! Sorry Ive been MIA for a bit. We had an unexpected death in the family, and some serious health events happen in the family as well. Im good. It is what it is as they say. Gotta keep moving forward. Thanks to those that reached out. You guys are awesome.

Why didn’t I think of that? I wanted to ax you a question, as you know I put a pair of mandarins in my tank over two weeks ago. Every few days I would see one in the shadows. It slowly turned into a daily occurrence and I figured I was seeing one of each. Now I can see one in the shadows almost every time I look in the tank but always a single one. Is it possible the other is just really shy or more plausible that I lost one and the cuc took care of it?

Can you see the mandarin well enough to tell if it's a male or female? It would help to decide if one is gone.
