The song Echoes makes up the entire B side of the album, it's just under 30 minutes long.

Funny story about that song. Back when I used to go to bars if anyone started playing garbage music, Id play that song on the jukebox for hours on repeat. It was cheap to play and turned the bar into a cacophony of whale noises and psychedelica

You nailed it! She was the only documented singer who had a 5 octave range. Peruvian lady, she was awesome.

I'm not sure what you exactly mean by "documented" but Axl Rose is very well known for having a 6 octave range and Mike Patton is also known for a very wide range.

I think it would have to count as singing to qualify. This lady was basically singing a capella in the 50s with little sound polishing technology. So I would say the ability to sing would be the difference. Counting Axl's octaves would be like counting the octaves that a washing machine has.

I wouldn't necessarily call it being an "apologist" as I never apologized for anything. A defender, yes. No matter anything else about Axl one cannot take away the fact he could sing.
