Tonight is a lazy night . I’m just boiling up some frozen ravioli with red sauce .
And I bit the bullet and I’m getting 2 five gallon PetCo Pacific Ocean Water delivered today via instacart

What sized containers Steve?

Tank clear and I love the fully natural look . Plus some closer ups of the substrate and the Majin Bo is looking really nice

Good point. I have a really good source locally for live rock at an absurdly cheap price. I was think of getting some sand and some of this:

Well if I’m using actual live rock, I see no need. And I think I’d go the microbacter 7 way otherwise. The grunge may work fine but I’ve never tried it myself.

It kicked a bucket unfortunately. None of those three made it. Ironically, once again , the PetCo fish were robust and healthy

I love the natural look. Planning on cycling some rocks from an old tank. I want the natural look also. Stack them and let the fish swim through. Great job.

Sorry to hear it. I have found that lighting is very important in my tank. And these softies grow well under popbloom lights at the clinics tank I care for.

Thanks. The frag zone dry rock chunks plus the harvested sand really complete the look. I’ve used polymer frag racks before but push come shove I’ll go with ones that look like rocks. And yeah, I like having caves/tunnels for fish and other critters.

I have had the red one for a while. The orange/yellow one John found for me. Can't wait to see it in a month or so.

I decided a long time ago that I rather like the pile of rocks. For the fish. And other creatures. Plus one for tunnels and caves.

So got some new corals. Little disappointed with size

So you had 1000 in @Dust Bowl Corals gift cards. Then found shrooms at another vendor. And wanted them but instead of spend cash, wanted to use that dust bowl credit. And had a vendor order shrooms from another vendor with their cash, so you could then buy them with your credit ? And he held them 8+ months.

And then you complain?!

Thanks Shelley, it will be fun with my boys. My youngest doesn’t have a tank but if you talk to him you would swear he was a seasoned reefer. He told me today after he got home from he’s bringing $1000 for corals for my tank. He lives vicariously through my tank without the work.
