Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
We are working on building them a better feeding trough so I tossed some hay on the ground to keep them out of the way. They are getting so fuzzy with their winter coats coming in.

My brother-inlaw bought a mare years ago. He had complained it was getting fat and lazy. He can be a real jerk. He rode her hard. Said she needed exercise. I had not seen her at this point. As I am sure you have already guessed she gave birth to a beautiful paint the next morning. He sold them shortly after that.

I have any number of suggestions for you. However, this is a family friendly website so I cannot state them here. 🤣

I applaud you if this is your way of getting people to call you "hunky". I, however, will never, ever call you hunky.
.....Again

Makes sense. I've never used GFO. Nothing against it, I just prefer fuges when possible.

Good Morning Shelley!
I personally have never had to deal with phosphates this high before. And never have set up a fuge. So not really sure the best way of dealing with it in this tank.

Morning.
Went to Nimbus fish hatchery yesterday but it has not opened yet.
The salmon and steehead are stacking up like cordwood waiting for the gate to open.
It usually opens around the first of November.
Good fishing downstream from the hatchery on the American river about 8 miles from the house.

However do they survive in that fish soup!

See Tom but my problem with any cheato or sea grass is with my sump as it doesn’t move the cheato or sea grasses around for sunlight ( spot light ) . It always stays in one place and I have to move it around to get light . It always ends up causing more trouble that being good for the tank . I was hoping there was a better way than using chemicals .
Could you put a small pump in it to move it around?

Good morning John! Did you get the worm? Man you are up early.
Tom Hanks Hello GIF
Dangit I'm not sure how I skipped an entire page this morning!! I would have gotten the worm, Kevin, but now I'm half a day late¡

I thought you were, who’s your team?
OK my phrasing and your reading comprehension had trouble connecting there lol. As an Ole Miss fan (which I am 100%) I am not looking forward to playing Georgia lol

I figured it out after going back and reading it. I am looking forward to it and will probably be going back and forth between it and the Miami and Notre Dame game. They didn’t teach reading and comprehension in my public school.
