So I recently put in a second sump to my system. My only issue is the one fitting that attaches to my 1/2” flow meter. I need thread on both sides to direct the return, but the apex fitting is thread slip. I understand it is not NPT has anyone had any luck using a 1/2” fitting with NPT and use a lot of Teflon tape? I did try the NPT fitting but it leaks a little. Should I just load up more Teflon. I’m pushing about 115 gph through it

It is leaking at the threads I tried pipe dope didn’t work gonna load up Teflon
If you dont care about removal latet just pvc glue it into place. Smother some pvc glue onto the cleaned threads and thread it into place. Wait an hour or 2 for cure and try it out. If it still leaks smother a bead of glue around the gap to the 2 fittings...

Trust me ive done some questionable things that are still in service ;)
