1" Mini Durso - Innovative Marine EXT overflow solution

I hate my innovative marine drains and love the simplicity of Durso and how easy they are to be whisper silent and Innovative marine overflow boxes are teeny tiny for the EXT so I decided to make my own! LOL

Haven't tested it with high flow setups yet but it's on my frag tank with the 1.6mm hole. Going to print one for my display and use a larger hole and see how silent it is. The 1.6mm hole wasn't enough for my 40L EXT. So for anyone with an innovative marine EXT and have to make adjustments to the drain this is for you!

So you have two pipes in overflow? Why not to install true gate valve (the ones round rotating, allowing you to micro adjust the flow) on main return make it dead silent full syphon in a way little of water is splashing into secondary drain dead silent too (like really little water)? This is going to be really silent?

I do not like durso personally, but I love the attitude of doing what you know and like!

This is what I currently have and hate it, every couple of days the second "trickle" pipe starts to get more water through it. May be time to cut my plumbing and clean it too... who knows anyway this is an easy solution to just an annoyance to me, not even a "problem"

Sounds like you have regular gate valve not round true gate valve which allows micro adjustements. Because pipe can not get this dirty so quickly
