okay i have a 10 gallon tank and stand that are sitting right now and am hoping i can make it into a frag tank.
i dont have much cash right now so am hoping to do this as inexpensively as possible.
i need some advice and suggestions on the best way to do this and that wont be too expensive.

so these are the things i have laying around..... dont know about the powersweep or the aquaclear for a 20 gallon if they would even work well for it or not.

its not drilled but i guess i would like a small sump with bag for filtration so how would you set this up without it being drilled? any thoughts on that? maybe i could just use some pvc piping into the tank from the back with two diff pumps...?

i guess it will be skimmerless since i dont have the moola to buy one for it.

there are two pc bulbs but maybe i could possibly alter it with a little diy leds? any thoughts on that?

any thoughts on this would really be appreciated.......

yeah i figured the lights wouldnt be enough. i was considering trying a little diy led type thing. wonder if that would be enough. i know i saw someone else light their tank with leds on here but dont remember who and how it was working or not.

yea jus use the HOB filter thats what i used on my frag tank and it was fine, you dont really have as much waste in a frag tank as a normal tank so it will def do!

so you wouldnt bother trying to do hosing or piping with pumps to a bag? and do you think the hob i have for a 20 gallon will be enough?

yea the HOB should be enough i mean you could do like a small sump with piping that would def help then u could hide all the stuff in a small rubber made sump like a 5 gallon one and that would be cheap to

so since im sorta still learning some of the setup plumbing stuff. i would need an intank pump to hosing to go to the bag and an exterior pump in the small sump with hosing going back up the back into the tank? right? :)
