So, I'm setting up another nano tank. This one is going to be primarily soft corals and anemones (a place to put clones from my main tank), as well as a possible acro quarantine tank, as my main 26-gallon is a high-tech sps nano.

Tank is 45cm x 30cm x 25cm.

Equipment list:
  • GHL mitras lightbar 2 (Actinic)
  • TUNZE 9004 skimmer
  • Eheim 25W heater
  • Eheim Pickup 160 for flow (anemones can't get caught in this).
  • Avast Marine ATO with 220v socket to plug in an IKS Vario Blue 2 peristaltic pump

Dosing:
  • kalk via the ATO
  • manual dosing of other traces as needed
Filtration method:
  • no sump
  • skimmer, with vinegar in the kalk to manage nitrates.

Photos to follow in due course. Tank has been running for several months already as a chaetomorpha reservoir/propagation tank.
