Last month I upgraded from a 45 gallon tank with a 10 gallon sump to a 120 gallon tank with a 50 gallon sump and 50 gallon filter barrel. Home made stand.

In the main tank I have...

A Reef Breeders Photon V2 on the way (Currently using two older superflux systems)
x2 Reef Breeders RP-M wave makers
(Later this week a Seneye monitor with wifi)

Fish...
Yellow Tang
Kole Tang
Foxface Rabitfish
Mandarin Goby
Sandsifter Goby
x2 Black Ice Clowns
x2 Sexy Shrimp

There is nothing under the tank but plumbing that leads directly through the wall to the garage on the other side. Water first goes through the blue barrel, then the sump, and back to the main tank.

The blue 55 gallon barrels has...
Filter mesh for extra filtration
(At a later time) more macro algae
Heater (forgot how many watts)

The sump has...
Some live rock and macro algae on the right half (Filter material to keep it away from the skimmer/return pump
Reef Octopus Classic 200
Current USA 1900 GPH Eflux return pump
Finnex 500 Watt Titanium Heater

Because the sump and barrel are in the garage, I have ordered a seneye system to track heat specifically. I have the return pump plugged into a smart outlet that I can turn off anytime/anywhere I get a notification that the heats either gone too cold or too hot. That way I can fix the problem when I get home from work without worrying about loosing fish or coral. I will also be adding some insulation to the blue barrel to help with any heat loss.

Garage tanks are nice. My first saltwater tank was a 125 in my garage. You can make a mess and the floor does not care.

The wife also liked it out there. Less to see, less mess to clean up in the house, and less for the little one to get into :). Awesome tank by the way!
