120 gallon tank build

So I was looking into building an acrylic 120 gallon aquarium (48x24x24), and ideally I wanted to do rimless. My plan was to make it out of 1" thick acrylic. For one should that be thick enough? And second, would the bottom panel need to also be 1" or would something like 1/2" work and same with the side panels?
