Ok so I have ordered my new reef tank. I have done many reefs but never built a setup my way! I will be drilling my tank, puting a overflow box in. My questions are what size pluming pipe would be best 1.5" or 2". And is a 3 stand pipe set up as quite as I have read?

For our tank, I used 1.5" PVC for the bean animal overflow, it is quiet but most of all it is set it once and forget it. But you have to set it up correctly and not tie the ends of the pipes together like some people do
