Hello all,
I am fairly new to saltwater tanks and am doing research for setting up a 125 gallon salt tank. I made a stock list and was hoping what people think about it as if it’s good or some changes and such.
A little about the tank is I want mostly butterfly fish, with an angel fish and some smaller fish, but really focusing on butterfly fish as my centerpiece species. It is going to be a bare bottom live rock tank. No corals maybe some fake ones but probably not.

1x yellow teardrop butterfly
1x red tail butterfly
1x yellow long nose butterfly
1x long nose butterfly or 1-2x whiteface butterfly
1x coral beauty
1x flame angel
2x clownfish (1 pair)
1x flame hawk fish
1x firefish
1x royal gamma
1x yellow watchmen goby and pistol shrimp pair
Clean up crew:
50x hermits
20x asters snails
10x banded trochus snails
2x urchin
3x cleaner shrimp
1x fire shrimp

Bitterflies together can be hit/miss. I would suggest stocking them all at the same time (some are very large just be aware of that) and theres really only two kinds of butterflies that like groups of their same kind (meaning they tolerate each other) and those are pyramids and the banners. So I wouldnt do multiples of any of your listed ones. Also what are you meaning when you say long nose and the yellow long nose? Those are usually the same fish

I was looking at all the ones that are peaceful to other butterflies, those would all come at the same time, and yea I noticed that about the yellow long nose lol so it would just be condensed to the yellow long nose

However I think you should get rid of the firefish. Cute little ones but they get so stressed and any tank with big and fast moving fish will stress it out and it wont eat

Yeah they are pretty, they do best in nano tanks though. You could put a blenny in place of the firefish, they are super bold and have great personalities
