So I'm not sure what happened yesterday but I set the fish trap, caught the Starry Blenny, put the trap back in, walked away, came back 15 months later and saw the Yellow-Lined Cleaner Goby laying in front of the trap looking dead. Scooped it up and it was alive but didn't look good. I'm thinking I may have spooked the Foxface and the Goby got stung... Either way, the Goby is in the 70 now and he was alive when I went to bed last night. I should have sumped the Starry...

Oh, well the daily life of being human ensures that! But for stuff I have to read and actually comprehend- MUST compartmentalize!

Just seeing this - how’s he doing?

No sign of the Yellow-Lined or the Starry Blenny but lights were turning off when I was walking in the door.

My old supervisor wants more corals and said he wanted a big chunk of Hollywood Stunner so...

Does that make me a bad person?

Well, that’s good if they’re hiding- probably really scared.

Don’t understand supervisor joke

Hollywood Stunner is a very aggressive, very fast growing chalice. Frank has an old picture of his Hollywood Stunner.

Saturday I started the tear down to make it easier to get the fish out. I was successful with the Leucoxanthus, but the rest are evasive.

However, in an effort to not kill the live rock, I put it in a tub with tank water. Last night I came downstairs because the ATO was making noise and I found about a dozen Berghia swimming on the surface of the tub. I transferred them back to the tank. Here's one being eaten by an Aiptasia this morning before the lights came on...

Here is the Berghia after eating the Aiptasia from the inside out....

It was kinda interesting seeing him popping out the side of the Aiptasia and hanging onto the guts as they were flapping in the breeze.
