I feel like it’s doing great right now after Dino and cyano outbreak. And crash and occurred almost 2 years ago. I am transitioning from softie and lps to a mixed reef and have added a few sps. So far they are doing good will be adding more soon!

Sps update! So far they are doing great! Also I FINALLY have a healthy, growing torch!
Tank is recovering from crash last year well so far and I have added a doser as well which is a game changer!
I took my skimmer off due to technical issues months ago (I think I got too large of a skimmer? It kept overflowing constantly so just became a headache). With no skimmer sps are thriving so far and parameters have been good so I’m wondering to just not use a skimmer and sell mine.
Temp: 77-78
Alk: 8.5
Phosphate: .03
I don’t really test other parameters. I’m sure ammonia is 0 lol
I also have a pest aptasia problem that’s out of control and I want to get rid of them! There are too many to use aptasia X ( or similar) by hand. I can’t add nudibranches cause I have a six line wrasse. I added a filefish about two months ago and have not noticed any decrease AND she ate my green Kenya tree:(. Maybe I’ll try a butterfly fish down the road but at this point their just making me hate my tank!

SPS frags seem to be doing good so far. I have not been able to order ATI essentials for months so I decided to change and try all for reef powder one. I also bought mixer and beaker I read it will make it easier to do. I really loved the ATI two part and it had trace elements. The all for reef has not come in the mail yet for now I am using Red Sea two part.
Some pics…. Please ignore aptasia I can’t get rid of it:(. Re arranged the rock work on left side and now I don’t like the right side so I think I am going to do that side next week. I am having a lot of algae and I don’t really know why. Phosphates are .02 and nitrates are less than 5. Alkalinity I try to keep about 9 but with changing dosing it’s been swinging around a little. I bought some chemi clean but I’m afraid to use it….Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend!
