Please allow me to introduce myself....
Been writing here for some time, now i guess it's fair to give my contribution, and present my (poor) tank....
Technical stuff:
Tank: custom home made, from scrap glass, 130x60x60 (outer dimensions 132x62x62), 10mm glass.
Sump: custom home made, from even worse scrap glass, 120x40x40, 6mm glass.
Flow: 2x jebao sow-8 pumps 8500lph each
Return: Blau ReefMotion 4KDC
Heater: 2x Hagen 300w heaters
UV: some old and cheap 15w Boyu uv lamp, plumbed to return pump
Media reactor: diy project made from water filter housing, plumbed to return pump.
ATO: diy automatic top off, small powerhead, and 30l diy container built from scrap glass 3mm
Skimmer: Aquamedic PowerFlotor L
Lights: 1x unidentified chinese black box, 2x popbloom RS90
Stand: diy from 2x2 steel profiles, welded, and mdf panels.
To summarize, simple setup, diy mostly, from cheaper parts and products.
For future plans, i'm hoping to get another rs90 light, quality uv, another wavemaker, maybe something from cheaper line of gyre pumps, and slightly powerful return pump. With rest, i'm happy, it serves purpose, and i have zero problems, so, why change anything.
As for livestock, tank is simple combination of soft corals, and some LPS. Mainly mushrooms, zoas, palytoas, euphilias, sarcophytons, xenia, anthelia, calustrea....to name few...
Of course, plan is to add more corals, there is plenty of room left, but, still planing to keep it simple, nothing fancy, no sps.
Tank residents are, for now, 2x a. ocelaris, 1x baby p. hepatus, 1x baby z. djesdjardinii, 1x s. fasciatus, and 1x l. ambonesis, 2x hermit crabs, milion of snails, some asterinas, and all of the regular stuff found in tanks....
Big ball of chaeto in sump, of course.
Enough text, some pictures, for the love of god i'm not able to take any good photos, so, please excuse quality, this is only for introduction purposes.
Here goes bunch of low quality pictures....
