Ya, price is up there, but if it becomes popular and they start making more volume it will go down after a while. I remember the DE when it first came out was around 20-25 bucks higher and then slowly started to drop.

IMHO still less than their closest competitor, Aquaconnect. I'll try the Phoenix here in a month when my Aquas need changed. I really like their DE bulbs.

Far as I know, these are the first SE lamps they have made in the 14K, but I could be wrong. I'm sure it's the first batch available in the USA.
