I have heater set to 77 and tank temp is 80.2. I live in iL so it is cold outside and my house temp is 71. I am running IM upgraded pump, IM nano skimmer and a IM 10watt UV. Don't want to run a fan. Do I need to get a skimmer? I am looking at a Poafamx 1/10HP on Amazon. Looking for suggestions. I have a glass lid on my tank and don't want to take it off. I am also running two kessil A80 s

Welcome to R2R :)

Do you have fish in the tank?
Perhaps get a netted cover. IM sells lids that fit most of their tanks, or you can easily make one, BRS sells the kits.
If you remove the glass lid the tank temp will probably come down, but 80F wouldn't concern me.
You don't have to have a skimmer, it really depends on your long term plans for the tank.
I am looking at the Bubble Magnus for my nano. I have had the Tunze 9001, but I am not familiar with the skimmer you're looking at.
