I have a 40 breeder that's had an Evergrow full spectrum led fixture over it. I've been thinking about putting my metal hylide fixture back up. It's got a 150w Phoenix 14k bulb. Is that enough light for a 40 breeder with mostly zoas and some LPS like a torch and frogspawn.

36 inches might be a little long for a single bulb. 24" x 24" is generally the spread. Otherwise it would be plenty of light for the corals that you have.

Ok. Thanks. It lights the tank up nice just didn't know about the ends getting enough light. May go back to my Evergrow led then.
