Pains me to put this up for sale. Long story short: this was(is) my dream shallow cube that I always wanted. I got it custom made three years back for our office/shop but I transitioned into a new career and am currently renovating my house to set up my 225 in-wall and 50 cube. My 50 cube is a miniaturized version of this tank.
This is a 72"X36"X16" 3 panel Starphire Lee Mar with Black back. The Eurobrace is Starphire as well. I run all my tanks with Beans overflow and get my C2C's custom made with 1/2" black acrylic, a 1" lip and a 1" radius at the corner notches. I've gotten four of these weirs fabricated now and they all perform seamlessly with no bowing. I also had them bevel the outside corner of the overflow and kept a 90 degree angle on the edge of the spillover lip. This creates more of a true "sheet" spilling over into the C2C. The largest weir LeeMar would make was a max of 24," which is of course not a true coast to coast, hence the custom weir I had fabbed.
The tank is drilled with 2&3/4" holes for the bulkheads(5 total inline)
The stand: welded 1.5" Box tubing 1/8" thick with support gussets in the corners and 8 threaded weld nuts placed underneath each vertical beam and leveling feet each with a load capacity of 3600 lbs each. Stand was then bead blasted and powdercoated black and skinned with 3/4" maple ply.
The glass is flawless with no scractches. I cleaned it with nothing but microfiber and glass sponges since I've had it. Sandbed is gone but there is still some excess silicone on the floor of the tank from when I had it bare bottom with starboard. The silicone easily comes up with a razor knife.
All Bulkheads and Gate valves are Spears brand.
Minimum I'll take is $2000 which is well below what I have into it. Not in a rush. I'll be keeping the return pump.
PM if interested or reply here for ?'s. Thanks for looking.
