I'm in the process of planning a future tank. I know what size of tank I want and am in the process of ironing out a stocklist for the tank whose star will be a regal angel. I'd love your suggestions and advice on planning this build and stocklist which I will post soon.

@4FordFamily - what are your thoughts on a tank with a regal angel as the centerpiece (e.g., stocklist, etc.)?

This is a rough draft of my current stocklist thoughts, but the regal angel is of most importance.

X2 ocellaris or maroon clown
Midas blenny
Flame angel
lemonpeel/half black angel hybrid
Bicolor angel
Coral beauty angel
Regal angel
X5 lyretail anthias
Blue mandarin (once tank is established)
Acanthurus tang (pbt, white cheek or convict)
Blue tang (if tank size permits)
Yellow, purple or desjardini tang
Tomini tang
Solon fairy wrasse
Mckoskers flasher wrasse
Diamond tail flasher wrasse
Radiant wrasse
Copperband and raccoon butterflyfish (too shy?)

I’m aware of the possible issues with multiple dwarf angels but I have seen it work if planned for. I plan to have lots of rock with plenty of hiding spots. This list is not final and is a work in progress. And yes, I know I have a tang and angel obsession😍 If possible, I plan to have a red tuxedo urchin, black widow bta and some rock flower nems hopefully. I summon my fellow angel, tang and wrasse nerds (and everyone else). 😆
