1st nem in the tank in your opinion would be a bta or rock flower?

Tank is only 3-4months and im debating getting a cpl rock flower nems from seattlecorals as they offered a decent deal imo.
They are show size they say so imo prob 3-6"

I have found both types to be pretty forgiving when it comes to water parameters. Getting a healthy bta clone from a local reefer is a good way to go.

What else is in your tank currently? When you say 3-4 months do you mean post cycle? Did you start with live or dry rock? What kind of lighting do you have?

Not a BTA...What size tank?

Either one of them can land on and damage expensive corals, but the RFA’s tend to move around less. It really just depends on the type that you’re going for.

Seems like tank is still young, BTA might not feel at home. Rock Nems (My favorite) seem to be a little more hardy.

I had awful luck with nems until my tank was closer to a year matured. Even with using partial established rock.

Rock will look good in that young tank. BTA's are a lot more finicky and prone to wander.

(Notice I didn't even try to talk you out of it.)

Normally and yes i agree the advice i would give someone is wait till the 6-9month mark just to be safe and rule out new tank syndrome. Lol.
I spend lots of money on corals yes....lol
