All in One 91 Marine Black 45x45x45 cm
Lights :Mini Lumina RGB+ Marine 40, Return pump :Reef Motion 1.5 DC (80%)
Skimmer :Scuma 0635
Refractometer: H2Ocean Refractometer
Ro: ecosoft 4+1DI stages 100gpd
TDS primato
DD temp controller with tmc v2 therm 100watt (26.3C)

af nano rock (4.5-5kg), af bio sand (10kg), Fauna Marin Professional Sea Salt 10 kg
And AF Bio S and lastly nano-tech bio-cubelet by maxspect.

1st chamber skimmer (not activated 1st day of cycling) with dd temp sensor and tmc 100watt therm[each device alone in each side), second chamber is the mech filter that I have no idea (I’m thinking to put the bio cubelet after that in bottom ) and last 3rd chamber the return pump.

Questions: 1st day cycling do I open the lights or not , if yes how many hours ?

Also just to be sure the bio cubes I put them after the filter sponge in the 2nd chamber?

I left the lights off while I cycled my tank

Disclaimer... I'm only three months in to the saltwater scene. However the tank is doing well (knock on my wood. I feel like I've had a fairly controlled ugly phase. That said for what it's worth i kept the lights off the entire cycle and then post cycle from now till then I've had a really conservative like program from 10:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m. slow ramp up and ramp down. Max intensity is at 35% for an hour with heavy blue lights towards the end of the day.

Also I left my skimmer off until I started adding fish and waste was being produced. Not sure if that's the right way or not but FYI

Day 9:(yesterday) I took ammonia no3 no4 test but everything was zero

For cycling I use bio s 1 drop every day and 2 flakes every 3 days.
