2 lbs Instant Ocean

I am in Bakersfield Calif- we are doing salt water tests on certain crops, potatoes and such, and I need just 2 lbs of Instant Ocean.

Any chance someone could help out?

You were asked to explain and your response was irrelevant ChatGPT noise and then highly specific obscure references to a real Rick Machado and his work with potatoes, but that Rick Machado wouldn't be pan handling for two pounds of IO in a reef forum.

Why only IO?

Why does a researcher or research farmer not have the ability to just go purchase a small box of IO and instead needs to arrange a private transaction on a reef forum?

Large enough operation to have "attn-igg" on the package but not large enough to order $23 of salt?

For simple "one trial" why not use actual ocean water, if the end goal is using ocean water due to the pending post-apocalyptic prediction that the global fresh water supply will not be available to grow crops?

I am Rick Machado. But everyone calls me igg, it's easier to reference me that way. If there was no such thing as IO, then we would probably use something else- but it's there, and much more closely replicates ocean water.

I have no idea why so many of you are seeing motives and my posts as anything other than what they are- looking for a small amount of IO for a trial on some of my potatoes I bred over 20 yrs ago. As a plant breeder- we are always running trials on our seeds and tubers, plants, for a hotter, drier climate. It's no more complex than that.

Thank you for the response. While I am not able to wrap my head around the frugality to save $23 or the open AI response in the other thread, this post is maybe what you should have started with.

Why the scrutiny? I think it speaks for itself in this modern digital era. We have no shortage of scammers trying to use the digital reach and SEO of this community to keyword or link pump, scam private transactions, or game our classifieds. Two parallel threads, new poster with an anonymous P.O. Box request with tracking markers that look like brushing and an AI generated response with vague reasoning didn't help. We are a community of extremely bright people and the real explanation would have gone a lot further than the dumbed down "I want to grow crops in saltwater" angle.
