Well I'm officially at 2 months with my Nuvo 40, and I have to say I am pretty pleased. 2 Clowns, 1 teeny-tiny watchman goby, and the bully of the group, a midas blenny. Since I moved the rocks and coral over from a 20 that had been running for (15?) years, I didnt see much of a cycle. Let me correct that, rocks went first with 1 clown, corals after the diatoms went away, 10 days or so. I added one more clown (which paired immediately) and the other 2 fish after a month. Other than that, the only things Ive purchased are a second filter sock (so I can alternate) and an ATO. Ive alternated between my LED fixture and my T5 fixture, only because I cant decide which is the best combination of health (for the beasts) , visual appeal, and functionality. After replacing the fans on the LED fixture I am back to that (since its DEAD quiet now) , but I just LOVE that all encompassing T5 look. Who knows where it will end up. I do run floss and carbon on the opposite side from the sock, but thats it for filteration. Dual heaters (for redundancy) keep things at 76 degrees. I made the stand out of scrap that was laying around.

Just a rainy day update from Virginia.
