I have 2 Sons of.... Maroon clowns. Lol
I cannot add a new coral without mutt and jeff knocking it over. The plan is to remove and rehouse them. Locations for a 2nd tank are limited. Is anyone keeping a salt aquarium or a salt aquarium with an anemone with a glass top, like a versa?

I'm not looking to get rid of them. Just asking if anyone is keeping an anemone in a rank with a glass cover. How is gas exchange, does light penetrate enough, etc.

glass cover will require more maintenance, like cleaning the residual water that collects up top. with that condensation, it will filter light but i don't believe it to be significant enough, but i can be wrong.

mesh tops are better since it doesn't trap the air, or make you have to clean the glass to help with light/evaporation. BRS sells a cheaper red sea DIY mesh lid, but you can buy your own stuff from home depot/lowes for less.
