20 GALLON LONG LIGHTING QUESTION

i have a single kessil a160we and was thinking about adding it to a aquatics life 24" t5 hybrid fixture. not sure if this would work on such a small tank. was going to buy the smaller 16" plates. like to know before i buy it. thanks for any help as always.
