Hello Everyone!
You are all invited to the 2019 INDMAS frag swap on Saturday, March 16 from noon to 4pm. The location is just west of Indianapolis, about 20 minutes west from highway 465. In addition, to vendors, hobbyists, and raffle prizes. We will also have a speaker presenting in our education room.

The time has come for us all to set our smart phones for the best day in reefing around! The 2019 16th annual INDMAS Annual Frag Swap is just around the corner and scheduled for March 16th, 2019. We will be in the same amazing place as last year, just 18 miles from downtown Indy...in Danville!

If you think last year was action packed…you don’t want to miss the fun we have in store for this year! This year we will continue with a speaker before the event, we will have food trucks, and we have plans for even cooler raffles! Our vendors and hobbyists will have tons of corals for you to shop for from 12pm to 4pm, and we are adding more great vendors to shop with this year! There will be grab bags at the door...while supplies last!

More information will be posted shortly regarding tables for vendors and hobbyists that have booked, a frag swap FAQ, and more! This INDMAS Frag Swap will be a great event to bring the whole family out to enjoy.



Tentative Schedule for the day is as follows:

10am: Pre-registration for Speaker & Event

10:30am – 11:30am: Speaker Presentation

11:30am: Early entry into Swap for Speaker Attendees

12pm to 4pm: 2019 INDMAS Frag Swap

INDMAS is pleased to announce that Dr. Sanjay Joshi will be the featured speaker at this years Frag swap on March 16, 2019 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds

Bio: Sanjay Joshi in real life is a Professor of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Penn State University. He has been a reef addict since 1992, and currently keeps several reefs aquariums at home including a 500G SPS dominated reef. He also co-manages the 500G aquarium at Penn State.

Dr. Joshi is actively involved in educating the hobby on various topics such as lighting, aquarium system design and general reef husbandry through his publications in reef magazines and lectures. He has published articles in magazines such as Advanced Aquarist, Reefs Magazine, Coral, Marine Fish and Reef Annual, Aquarium Frontiers, and Aquarium Fish.

In addition he has been an invited speaker at several marine aquarium society meetings in the US and Europe. He received the MASNA award in 2006, for his contributions to the marine aquarium hobby

Sanjay has a full time job at Penn State University as a Professor of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, but he has also been a reef addict since 1992. He owns many reef aquariums of his own, including a 500 gallon SPS dominate tank, and also helps to manage the 500 gallon reef tank at Penn State. Dr. Joshi has had many publications and articles in many different reef magazines such as Coral, Advanced Aquatics, and Marine Fish and Reef Annual, and has a passion for educating hobbyists about things such as lighting, general reefing, and aquarium system designs. We can’t wait to welcome Dr. Sanjay Joshi at our swap and hear the great information he has to share with us all. You won’t want to miss it!!



We also have great raffle prizes, food trucks, and other awesome benefits lined up for the swap. This year our grand prize tank will be donated by one of our platinum sponsors, The Reef, and we will have a 13 and under children’s tank raffle, donated by Premium Aquatics!
