MAN i am so disapointed today. i had to take the red flasher wrasse out my tank. My
nasty sixline wrasse was giving him the bitting of his life. If i can take out the sixline wrasse i defenetly will, but they are so hard to catch.
and i fogot to say that i put the red flasher about a week and a half before the sixline, and i still got problems about 4 weeks after they were together. man it sucks.
since i couldn't keep the red flaser wrasse in my cube, i added a lamark's swallowtail angelfish. i really like her,and so far so good. hopefully it's stays that way. lol
Did i see a purple tang in your cube? if so Sweeeeeet.
I'm thinking about a kole yellow eye or Bristletooth Tomini Tang.
I want a purple tang to expensive
I just purchased a Filamented Flasher Wrasse:bigsmile:
please explain your lighting setup ie. timing, why, mh,t5 led etc
thanks dcook, yes that was a purple tang ,but unfurtantely i lost him and a mimic tank recently. when i got the purple tang he was really skinny, but he was so small i wanted to give him a chance in my tank.i fed different foods algea sheets with garlic, pellets, flakes, mysis, cyclopsis, chopped top krill, but he would'nt fatten up.Now the only tang i have is a tomini tang and she is doing great. my light set up is one 150 watt pendant with radium 20k bulb = 5 hours a day
two 24 inch t5 retrokit with 460nm atinics = 8 hours a day
and three powerbrites. = 10 hours a day
thank you aquarius77.
i have some new corals and i have fragged some of my older corals, and have frags all over the bottom of the tank now. I will be posting new pics during the week.
