I am finally getting around to posting threads for each my tanks. I reset them all after we moved and changed up a lot of my tanks.

This first one I am trying to build out as a shallow lagoon, with only SPS coral. It is stocked with acropora, Anacropora, montipora, and Psammocora. I also added in one gorgonian I got from another local reefer. Historically I haven’t had much luck but it seems to be doing well in this tank.

For fish, I have a school of 7 springer damsels. I saw a video of a large acro reef with lots of damsels swimming around so tried to copy that.

There are a couple of stragglers on the rocks that are soft or SPS that I couldn’t completely remove, watching to see how they do. So far so good. Namely, a chunk of an alveopora, some Zoas, and some clove polyps.

The tank is run with a hydros controller, a Hygger gyre for flow, and lit with a ReefBreeders Meridian 24.

Everything is growing well.

Let me know what you think!

Just posting an update. I can’t believe the coloration and growth I am seeing in this tank already!

Running nitrates around 20-25 and phosphates between 0.07-0.10. I also use Reef Moonshiners. Don’t mind the particulates, I just added Reef Actif 😁.
