Ok I'm just about to setup my lighting, I have a canopy and a Hamilton 48" hood sitting on top of it with 2 mogul sockets, lamps are 14" above the water. I am running (2) Lumatek dial a watt 400 ballasts with (2) 250w lamps, and my tank is 24" deep. Is this height above the water ok to keep a mixed reef and clams on sand bottom?
