25g IM Lagoon Setup

Setting up a 25g IM lagoon soon for a mixed reef with just a few sps mainly soft corals and some fish. Curious on what’s everyone’s recommendations for equipment or if you have this tank I would love to know what lights and filtration/ any other equipment you are running for a successful reef.

I have that tank, there's a link to my build in my signature. My tank is still on the new side, but going well, I think.

Basically, I have two Kessil A360we's for lighting
I have two IM Mighty Jet 326 gph return pumps
I have Random Flow Generators (RFG's) from Vivid Creative Aquatics
Two aging EcoTech MP-10 circ pumps
One 200 watt BRS Titanium heater with an InkBird heater controller
My whole tank is controlled with a Robo-Tank controller system
I prefer media baskets to the included filter socks
I've got the IM 9 watt UV sterilizer, but hardly use it
I have the IM NuvoSkim skimmer but I HATE the stupid things, and I'm getting rid of it

Curious to know if you ever started the tank!

This tank has been up and running since last March or so, I started to stock it over the summer. I got busy and pulled out of town in the very early Fall, and when I came back to the tank it was overrun in Dinos. It pretty much took out most of the frags I got last summer, and I've been dealing with the Dinos since. It's been frustrating, but I think it's headed in the right direction again, and I hope to add some more livestock in the new year.

Hey man, I actually wanted to get a Nuvo skim desktop for my IM 25 Lagoon. Can you give me the pros and cons from your experience?

I'd like any alternatives you may have too!

I'm not sure if I can help I tried the NuvoSkim, and didn't like it, though it fits the tank great. I also tried a Bubble Magus Mini Q. I don't think either skimmed well, even after a break in, and both caused salt creek everywhere in my setup, so currently there's not skimmer on this tank.
